Policy

Sree Vijayananda Vidyapeedom, Aranmula is a CBSE affiliated school and has been working successfully for the last 24 years. Mathaji Gurupoornimamayi established this school in 2001. Sree Vijayananda Gurudeva Smaraka Charitable Trust is managing the school. The school envisions for excellence in all round academic, physical, mental and spiritual development of the students along with a positive inclination towards appreciation of our cultural heritage and to contribute intensively to develop a value oriented society.

Staff and students

The school has a total of 42 staff members-27 teaching staff and 15 non teaching staff. The school has enrolled a total of 411 students from Balavadika 1 to class X.

Academic achievements

Our school has scored 100% pass in the last CBSE examination which has been repeated for the last many years. I congratulate all students for bringing glory and fame to our institution.

Parent Teacher meetings

Class wise parent teacher meetings and 2 open houses for all classes from KG to class an X were held in this academic year.

Teacher Training Programme

We have conducted 2 teachers’ training programmes for teachers of our school

• “Teachers Motivation” Training programme conducted by the famous education Psychologist Sri. Vijaya Kumar on 16.5.24.
• Training programme on CBSE Holistic Progress Card by Rajan Joseph Kadamthodu on 7th December 2024.

Workshop for Parents

A workshop for parents “Meet up for future” was conducted on 4th January 2025. Sri Deepthish was the resource person.

Co-curricular And Extra Curricular Activities

To impart a competitive spirit we grouped our students into three houses, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire. All competitions were held House wise in arts and sports .

Pravesnolsavam & Inauguration of  Vedic Vistara

Pravesnolsavam was celebrated on June 10 th 2024. T K A Nair, former Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India inaugurated the function. Mathaji Jnanbhanistha inaugurated Vedic vistara, our play school.

International Day of  Yoga

Was celebrated in the campus on 21st June 2024. After the demonstration by the school Yoga team all students from class 1 to X School participated in the event.

SAFAL Examination

Structured Assessment For Analysing Learning ( SAFAL ) online examination by CBSE designed to enhance the assessment process by focusing on critical thinking, inquiry, and analysis skills in line with the National education policy was conducted on second week of July for the students of 5th and 8th Standard.

Assessment of Ecological Status of Pampa River for Conservation

We conducted a workshop for Nature club students by Dr V Dinesh, Wild life Institute of Dehradun on ‘Assessment of Ecological Status of Pampa River for Conservation’.

Workshop on Eat right

Food Safety Department ,Gov. of Kerala has Conducted workshop on food adulteration and a demonstration of Food testing Mobile lab in the campus. A painting competition on the theme ‘ EAT RIGHT’ was also conducted.

YouthFestival

School Youth festival was conducted on 9/8/2024.

Vyasa Poornima- Gurupoornima celebrations were held on 3rd July 2024.

Onam & X’mas day celebrations.

We celebrated Onam festival – Paithrikam’ 2024 on August 28. X’ mas and New Year programme were celebrated on 20th December 2024.

Vijayadesami was celebrated on 12th October 2024.

CBSE Kalosav

Our School participated in the CBSE central Travancore Sahodaya Kalolsav 2024 and secured 5th position bagging 137 points.

Pampa River cleaning programme

On October 2nd, Pampa River cleaning programme was conducted at Sathrakadanu, Aranmula.

Children’s Day

We have celebrated Children’s Day on Nov.14

School Sports day

School sports and Athletic events were conducted on 18th December 2024. Saphire house emerged as the overall champion with 220 points. Emarald got 209 points and Ruby166 points.

Study tour

A 3 days study tour programme was conducted to Mysore for high school students. We visited Bandipur National Park, Mysore Zoo, Mysore Palace, Brindavan Gardens and Chamundi Hills.

Bhagavat Gita Programmes

We have been giving special emphasize to Gita classes in all Standards.

Counselling

The school is giving personal counseling to our students and parents to transform the campus stress free and to address personal and social issues.

Other activities

Quiz competition, Independence day celebrations are the other major activities done in the current academic year.
